AppleGene explores the pathway mechanisms of aging
t the cellular level, root mechanisms such as DNA damage, epigenetic alterations, telomere shortening, loss of proteostasis, and autophagic dysfunction drive the aging process. Mitochondrial dysfunction and cellular senescence act as responses to these root mechanisms. At the organismal level, this manifests as stem cell exhaustion, chronic inflammation, and dysbiosis, among others. These mechanisms interact with and influence each other, forming causal loops that collectively drive aging. AppleGene has identified multiple root mechanism pathways of aging, establishing a foundational framework for these mechanisms.

On the Alps above 3,000 meters above sea level, rare, pure, and natural botanical extracts have the ability to withstand harsh environments. We believe their abilities can be extracted. The team is committed to exploring these rare botanical extracts from high-mountain glaciers, using Switzerland's cutting-edge plant cell technology to achieve tissue culture, extract active substances, and conduct cell tests, animal tests, and human clinical trials to verify their efficacy. The most successful case is derived from Uttwiler Spätlauber, an ancient and rare apple variety from Switzerland. Only 20 trees of which exist globally, all in Switzerland. It has been included in the Swiss National Action Plan for the Conservation of Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (NAP-PGRL) and is protected by the ProSpecie Rara Foundation. Using plant cell technology, we can cultivate and extract epigenetic factors (such as microRNAs) from apple callus tissue. MicroRNAs play an important role in organismal and skin aging.
